Dental insurance often offers limited to no coverage for dental implants, primarily classifying the treatment as "cosmetic." Consequently, patients are left with out-of-pocket expenses ranging from $20,000 to $50,000 or more for full-mouth dental implants. While the benefits of this treatment are undeniable, its cost can be prohibitive for many.
However, if dental implants are deemed medically necessary, medical insurance may step in to provide coverage. Unlike dental insurance, medical coverage doesn't have annual maximums, potentially reducing a patient's out-of-pocket cost to as low as ~$2,000 for a $60,000 full-mouth reconstruction procedure (illustrative example; every patient's situation is unique).
It's worth checking your eligibility for medical necessity coverage. At Regional Implant Center, we are committed to exploring all avenues to help our patients achieve the smile they deserve. If you don't qualify for medical coverage, our team can still assist you in setting up a payment plan to make the treatment financially manageable.

What is the procedure to get full-mouth implants?
We carry out a complete Mouth Examination, this includes dental X-rays, a 3D scan as well as a state-of-the-art 3D CT scan to plan your treatment. We will look into your medical history and current health condition. This helps determine your candidacy for Full-Mouth Implants.
After the Full-Mouth Examination is completed and you are eligible to get Full-Mouth Implants, the implants will be placed. The procedure starts with full sedation. Our specialized team will perform the full implant procedure where any remaining teeth will be extracted, the implants will be placed.
Your dental implants are now in place. At this point, all you have to do is give them time to heal properly. The healing process will vary from one patient to another. It is important to note that Post-Surgery will often include a couple of days of rest. Full recovery for usually will take between 3-6 months.

Full Mouth Dental implants are a fast and effective method for replacing missing teeth or dentures. Unlike traditional dental implants, which can require having up to eight or more implants placed to support an arch, Full Mouth Dental Implants only requires four to six implants to support the arch. Full Mouth Dental Implants are equally effective for patients who are missing teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.
There are several reasons that might indicate the need for dental implants, such as having lost a tooth loss due to injury or periodontal disease, difficulty chewing or speaking caused by a missing tooth, a visible gap in your smile, or issues with a poorly fitting denture or bridge. If you are facing any of these concerns, full mouth implants might be a suitable solution for you.
Dental implant costs can vary based on factors like the number of teeth being replaced, the type of implant, and the procedure's complexity. Although initial expenses may be higher compared to alternative tooth replacement options, dental implants offer lasting benefits. They resemble and function like natural teeth, contribute to jawbone and tooth preservation, enhance chewing and speaking capabilities, and maintain your face's natural shape. The decision to get dental implants is personal and should consider your oral health needs and financial situation. Our team at Regional Implant Centers is here to guide you, providing information to help you make an informed decision.
Dental implants are crafted for durability and longevity, and their maintenance closely mirrors that of natural teeth. Regular brushing and flossing are essential to ensure the cleanliness of the implant area, preventing plaque and food debris accumulation. Routine checkups and cleanings with your dentist play a vital role in implant care. To promote the lasting success of your implant, it is advisable to refrain from smoking, biting or chewing hard foods, and using your teeth to open packaging. Should you have any concerns regarding the care of your dental implant, your dentist is the best source for specific instructions and advice.
