Frequently Asked Questions

What are Full Mouth Dental Implants?

Full Mouth Dental implants are a fast and effective method for replacing missing teeth or dentures. Unlike traditional dental implants, which can require having up to eight or more implants placed to support an arch, Full Mouth Dental Implants only requires four to six implants to support the arch. Full Mouth Dental Implants are equally effective for patients who are missing teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.

How can I determine if I need a dental implant?

There are several reasons that might indicate the need for dental implants, such as having lost a tooth loss due to injury or periodontal disease, difficulty chewing or speaking caused by a missing tooth, a visible gap in your smile, or issues with a poorly fitting denture or bridge. If you are facing any of these concerns, full mouth implants might be a suitable solution for you.

How expensive are dental implants? Are they worth it?

Dental implant costs can vary based on factors like the number of teeth being replaced, the type of implant, and the procedure's complexity. Although initial expenses may be higher compared to alternative tooth replacement options, dental implants offer lasting benefits. They resemble and function like natural teeth, contribute to jawbone and tooth preservation, enhance chewing and speaking capabilities, and maintain your face's natural shape. The decision to get dental implants is personal and should consider your oral health needs and financial situation. Our team at Regional Implant Centers is here to guide you, providing information to help you make an informed decision.

Are Full Mouth Dental Implants easy to maintain ?

Dental implants are crafted for durability and longevity, and their maintenance closely mirrors that of natural teeth. Regular brushing and flossing are essential to ensure the cleanliness of the implant area, preventing plaque and food debris accumulation. Routine checkups and cleanings with your dentist play a vital role in implant care. To promote the lasting success of your implant, it is advisable to refrain from smoking, biting or chewing hard foods, and using your teeth to open packaging. Should you have any concerns regarding the care of your dental implant, your dentist is the best source for specific instructions and advice.
